Westfield State topped Rhode Island College, 3-2 in a match play dual meet at the Valley Country Club in Warwick, R.I..

For Westfield, Kyla Murphy (Hampshire/Westhampton, Mass.), Makenze Felty (Hampshire/Southampton, Mass.), and Julia Dolce (St. Paul/Bristol, Conn.) were all winners.

Murphy defeated Megan Rocheleau 2-up, Felty topped Jean Arnold 1-up, and Dolce downed Kelsey Hinchcliffe 2-up.

For RIC, Megan Mahan topped Bailey Loughlin Maynard, Mass.) 5 and3, and Natalie Jepsen topped Miread Kelly (South Windsor, Conn.) 2-up.

Westfield will next play on Saturday, October 6 in the Empire 8 Conference women's golf championship at the Ballston Spa Country Club in Ballston Spa, N.Y.
