WESTFIELD, Mass.  –  Sophomore Julia Dolce (St. Paul Catholic/Bristol, Conn.) posted the low score of the weekend for the Owls, as the Westfield State women's golf team placed 16^th at the Mount Holyoke College Invitational at the Orchards Country Club in South Hadley, Mass.                                                       

Dolce shot 100-108-208 on the 6,217-yard, par-72 course, which hosted the 2004 US Women's open and the 2002 NCAA Division III women's championship. 

The Owls did manage to turn the tables on Rhode Island College, which had topped Westfield in a dual meet last weekend.  Westfield edged the Anchorwomen 854-863 in the team scoring.

Westfield will next compete at Rhode Island College on Sunday, September 30.
