WESTFIELD, Mass. - Westfield State sophomore Mitch Maslowksi (Berlin, Conn.) was named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference's (MASCAC) Men's Track Athlete of the Week for the week ending April 7th.

Maslowski earned a second place finish in the 200 meters with a time of 22.13, only 1/100ths off the winning time at the Coast Guard Invitational. He also placed fourth in the 100 meters in a time of 11.09 and ran a leg of the Owls' winning 4x100 relay which completed the circuit in 43.26.

Maslowski and the Owls will host the annual Jerry Gravel Invitational this coming weekend at Westfield State University.
