Westfield State senior Nick Eliopoulos shot a seven-over par 79 to tie for sixth at the Rich Korzec Memorial Tournament at the Blackstone Golf Club in Sutton, Mass., on Tuesday afternoon.

Eliopoulos hit just nine greens in the windy conditions and got up and down for par four times from off the green.

No one in the field broke par on a blustery day on the 6,655-yard, par 72 layout.  Nichols College's TJ Barber was the medallist with a 2-over 74.   Babson won the team title with a total of 308, while the Owls were fifth at 341.

Michael Waldman and Ryan Boermeester each shot 86 for the Owls.

Westfield State will wrap up the spring campaign with the Westfield State Spring Invitational next Tuesday at Tekoa Country Club in Westfield.
