Westfield State men's golf took home fourth place honors at the Elms Blazers Fall Invitational, contested at the Ledges and the Orchards Golf Clubs in South Hadley on Saturday and Sunday.

The Owls were led by sophomore Matteo Godek (Agawam, Mass.) who placed seventh on the individual leaderboard with 75-76-151.

Husson (Me.) University's Gavin Dugas was the meet's medalist with scores of 71-72-143, leading the Eagles to the team title with a two-day score of 608.

Amherst was second with a total of 616, followed by Western New England (620) and the Owls (636) in the 17-team event.

Junior Ryan Koczela (Bridgewater, Mass.) placed 11th for Westfield with rounds of 76-79-155.
