WESTFIELD, Mass.  – Westfield State junior Ryan Koczela was named the MASCAC men's golf athlete of the week earlier today, brought to you by GEICO.

 Koczela won a three-man playoff to win the Brett Williamson Invitational hosted by the Westfield State at the Tekoa Country Club with a four-over 74. He led the Owls to a first-place team finish at the tournament as well.

 Koczela and the Owls get back to work tomorrow at the MASCAC championships held at Blackstone National Golf Club in Sutton, MA.
