Westfield, Mass. -- Senior Jauch Green Jr (Hartford, Conn.)  has been named this past weeks Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week, sponsored by Geico.  

Coming off a MASCAC Tournament Title win for the Owls. Green averaged 26.5 points, seven rebounds, 3.5 assists and three steals, while shooting 50 percent (18-36) of his shots for the week. 

Green closed in on 23 points, five assists, five steals, and two rebounds for the Owls semifinal win over Salem State. 

In their 81-77 title win over Worcester State Saturday, Jauch was named tournament MVP with his 30 point and 12 rebound performance.  

The Owls will face #19 ranked Middlebury College in the first round of the NCAA Division Three Men's Basketball national championship tournament on Friday night, March 6 in Brockport, N.Y.
