Westfield State sophomore Riley Goulet (Marion, Mass. / Old Rochester) was named the Little East Conference field hockey goalie of the week for the week ending September 8, 2019.   

Goulet totaled 10 saves in a pair of shutout wins for the Owls. She posted six saves in a 3-0 win over Simmons before making four stops in a 1-0 win over Rivier. Goulet is now 3-1 for the season with a 3.21 goals against average and .711 save percentage with 27 total stops for the year.

Westfield State field hockey will be back in action tomorrow with a non-conference game vs. Johnson and Wales at 4 p.m. on Alumni Field.
