Westfield State University football alumnus Brian Mazzone '04 was recently named s state Coach of the Year by the Connecticut High School Coaches Association.
Mazzone's Stafford High School team posted a perfect 10-0 regular season.
At Westfield, Mazzone was a member of the Owls perfect 2001 team, which posted a perfect 10-0 record and advanced to the NCAA playoffs after winning the New England Football Conference Championship game.
