Westfield State junior punter Cody Cleveland (Northampton, Mass.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Special Teams player of the week for the week ending Oct. 21.

Cleveland punted 10 times for a 39.2 yard average in the Owls loss to Framingham on Saturday, twice pinning the Rams inside their own 20-yard line.

For the season, he is averaging 38.7 yards per kick.

The Owls (4-4, 3-3 MASCAC) will play thier final home game of the regular season this Saturday, October 27, hosting Plymouth State at 2:00 p.m. on Alumni Field.
