WESTFIELD, Mass. -- Westfield State senior shortstop Colin Dunn (Westfield, Mass.) was named to the D3baseball.com National Team of the Week this past week.

Dunn gains the honor for the first time in his career, finishing the week going 6-for-9 (.667) at the plate, with two home runs, five runs scored, and four RBI. He blasted a pair of home runs in the Owls 6-2 win at Coast Guard, then tacked on three more hits in a 14-2 win at Anna Maria on Sunday.

Over the course of the week, he attained a .727 on base average and a 1.333 slugging percentage.

Dunn and the Owls get back to work tomorrow night, as Westfield travels to McKenzie Field in Holyoke, Mass. for a local battle with Elms College at 7:30 p.m.
