Glanville was named the league's coach of the year for the eighth time in his 21-year tenure with the Owls program.

Westfield State won the league's regular-season title with a 7-0 record in conference play.  The Owls rallied from a slow start against tough non-league competition, where they started 0-12, to win the league and finish with a 10-19 overall record.  The Owls were upset in the semifinals of the conference tournament, losing a narrow five-set decision to Framingham.
