CLERMONT, Fla. –  Westfield State senior Lexi Popp (Westford Academy/Westford, Mass.) earned all-America honors with a seventh-place finish in the women's 400 meter final at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston.

Popp posted a time of 57.41 while running in the second heat of the timed final. Sarah King of George Fox (Ore.) University was the champion out of the first heat with a time of 54.66.

By virtue of finishing in the top eight at the national meet, Popp earns All-America honors from the US Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

Popp earns All-America honors for the first time.  She is a two-time national qualifier, previously qualifying for the national meet in the 400 hurdles outdoors last spring where she finished 18th.
