WESTFIELD, Mass.  – Westfield State senior Lexi Popp (Westford, Mass. / Westford Academy) was named the MASCAC women's track Athlete of the Week, as announced by the conference earlier today.

She set a meet record in the 400 meters at the RIC Invitational with a time of 1:00.22, which qualified her for the Division III New England Champion­ships. Popp also finished fourth in the 200 meters with a time of 27.46.

Popp is currently ranked seventh on the NCAA DIII performance list in the 400 meters.

Next up for women's track and field is the Harvard Multi Meet held at Harvard University on January 10th and 11th.
