WESTFIELD, Mass. - Westfield State University senior pole vaulter Ashley Craig (Westford Academy/Groton, Mass.) was selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference field athlete of the week on Monday.

Craig broke her own school record in the pole vault, clearing 3.90m (12' 09.50") to place second and earn All-NEICAAA honors at the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association (NEICAAA) Championship hosted by Dartmouth College.

She is currently ranked sixth nationally in the event and will most likely qualify for the NCAA Division III National Championships in La Crosse, Wisconsin on May 24-26.
