Westfield State first-year Jackie Roccabruna (Pittsfield, Mass.) took second in the 200 freestyle to highlight day 2 of the Little East Conference Swimming and Diving Championships for the Owls at the Boston Sports Institute in Wellesley, Mass. on Saturday evening.

Roccabruna touched the wall in 2:04.46, 1.55 seconds behind Rory Lee of Keene State.

Westfield State senior Kara Banagan (Niskayuna, N.Y.) placed fourth in 1 meter diving as she scored 327.30 on the 1-meter board.

The Owls were fifth in the 200 medley relay with a time of 2:01.85

Allyson Linkenhoker (Monson, Mass./Belchertown) advanced to the A final in the 400 IM, finishing sixth with a time of 5:06.75

The meet concludes on Sunday with prelims at 10:00 a.m., followed by finals at 5:30 p.m.
