WESTFIELD, Mass. – Monique Groux (Agawam, Mass.) and Kelsey Johnstone (Southwick, Mass. / Westfield) took home this week's Little East Conference diver and swimmer of the week, as announced by the conference on Monday.
Groux gave the Owls a win in the meet against Smith College on Saturday with a score of 179.35 on the 3-meter board. She also placed second on the 1-meter board with a score of 204.30.
Johnstone won the 50-yard breaststroke, the 100-yard freestyle, and the 200-yard breaststroke in the meet. She also led the 200-yard medley relay team to a win in the first event of the meet.
Swimming gets back to work Saturday, December 1st when they travel to Umass. Dartmouth for a 1:00 p.m. LEC meeting.
