WESTFIELD, Mass. - Westfield State women's soccer sophomore goalkeeper Julia Robak (Chicopee, Mass.) earned this week's Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week after the team split their two games this week, winning the match with Robak in net.

Robak posted her first shutout of the season, totaling seven saves in the Owls' 3-0 victory against Worcester State on the road Saturday as the Owls moved to 2-0 in conference play with the win.

On the season, Robak has allowed the fourth fewest goals in the league (ten) and has registered a 2.50 goals against average and a .677 save percentage in four games this year.

The Owls (4-4) look to improve on their record and defend The Nest against Smith College on Tuesday, September 26 for a 4:00 PM start time.
