Westfield, Mass. – Westfield State senior Jenn Rennich (Bedford, Mass.) and first-year Delaney Parker (Orange, Mass.) each received MASCAC recognition as Rennich earned player of the week while Parker took the rookie of the week.
Rennich registered three assists on Saturday in the Owls key road victory over Worcester State. The senior captain is second on the team in goals (5) and assists (4) on the season.
Parker continued her scoring success over the weekend, scoring her 14th and 15th goals of the season to jumpstart the Owls offense in the victory over Worcester. She currently leads the MASCAC in goals, assists, and points while ranking second in Division III in goals.
Westfield State, who owns a perfect 3-0 in conference play, will host Western New England in a non-conference game on Wednesday at 4:00 P.M. at Alumni Field. The Owls will enter back into conference play on Saturday as they play host to Mass. Maritime at 12:00 P.M.
