Westfield State first-year Delaney Parker netted her third hat trick of the season, booting Westfield past Eastern Connecticut, 4-3 in a non-conference game in Mansfield, Conn. on Wednesday evening.

Parker netted the game winner in the 87^th minute to snap a 3-3 deadlock, scoring on a left-side breakaway from a tough angle.

Westfield State improves to 4-3-1 on the season, while Eastern in now 3-3.

The game was a back and forth affair throughout.  After the Warriors grabbed a 1-0 lead less than two minutes into the game, Parker netted back to back goals to give the Owls a 2-1 lead in the 17^th minute.

Ashlyn Rogers tied the game for Eastern in the 55^th minute, only to see Westfield State's Jenn Rennich respond with an goal less than two minutes later to stake the Owls to a 3-2 lead.

Eastern wasn't done, as Carlie Dreyfus found the back of the net in the 68^th minute, to tie the match at 3-3 and set the stage for Parker's game-winner.

Parker has started her collegiate career with an incredible scoring spree, netting 11 goals through the Owls first seven games. She has 11 goals and 3 assists for 25 points to lead the Owls

Westfield held an 18-10 advantage in shots and an 8-5 edge in corner kicks.

The Owls will be back in action on Saturday, hosting MCLA in a MASCAC game at Alumni Field. That game will be the 500^th career collegiate coaching game for Owls' head coach Todd Ditmar.
