Paine Named MASCAC Defensive Player of the Week

WESTFIELD, Mass – Senior defender Victoria Paine (Dudley, Mass./Shepherd Hill) was named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference women's lacrosse defensive player of the week as the Owls started their season of strong with a 17-12 win over Western New England.

Paine played a massive role in the Owls victory in the season opener. She finished the game with five caused turnovers and five ground balls. Paine is a four-year starter and has started a total of 47 games in her career. She has a total of 44 caused turnovers and 81 ground balls in her career at Westfield State.
