Westfield State women's golf finished sixth at the 2023 Northeast Women's Golf Conference Championship meet, hosted by Wintonbury Hills Golf Course in Bloomfield, Conn. on Saturday and Sunday.

Kerry Greenough shot the low round of the weekend for the Owls on Sunday with a 99, as the teams battled rainy weather conditions throughout and near-darkness by the end of the round. Greenough parred the third and ninth holes in her round.

Jordan Eddy finished tied for 24th individually with a two-day total of 210, with Greenough three strokes back in 26th.   Kaitlyn Egan and Julia Elbe rounded out the Owls' scoring four.

Cortland State won the league title with a two day team score of 626.   The Red Dragons' Amanda Gaffney was the tournament's individual champion and named the league's player of the year after shooting 75-78-153.

Twelve schools sent teams or individual players to compete at the tournament.  Two of the complete teams withdrew on Sunday with the inclement conditions.
