Eddy Shoots Low Round of Day as Owls Fall to Keene State

WESTFIELD, Mass. - Westfield State's Jordan Eddy shot the low round of the day with a 98, but Keene State edged Westfield State 437-450 in an intercollegaiate women's golf dual match at Shaker Farms Country Club on Sunday afternoon.

Keene's Jasmine Shtufaj was second at 100, and Jodi Mercier third at 103.

Westfield's Kerry Greenough placed fourth in the individual table with a 104.

Westfield State had three players making their collegiate golf debut - Kaitlyn Egan, Bridgette McAndrews and Jenna Hurlburt.

Westfield will next compete in the Northeast Women's College Golf Conference Championship tournament next Saturday and Sunday at Wintonbury Hills in Bloomfield, Conn.
