WESTFIELD, Mass. –  Westfield State University's Jordan Grant (Gray, Me. / Gray-New Gloucester) and Olivia Hadla (Westfield, Mass./Westfield) were named to the 2023 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference women's basketball All-Conference team on Wednesday.

Grant was tabbed as a first-team selection, and Hadla was named to the second team.

Grant, a junior forward, led the Owls in scoring with 16.0 points per game, and rebounding with 6.4 per game. She grabbed two steals per game and shot 50.2 percent from the floor while playing in 24 of the Owls 28 games.

Hadla led the league in three-pointers made per game (2.5), and finished sixth in the league in scoring and fifth in steals.

Westfield finished the season with an 18-10 overall record and went 9-3 in conference play. The Owls tied for second in the regular-season standings, but were the third-seed in the conference tournament due to league tie breaking rules.   Westfield topped MCLA in the first-round of the league playoffs, then beat Framingham State on the road in the conference semifinals, before falling to top-seeded Bridgewater, 64-59 in the conference championship game.
