Dominican strung together four base hits in the bottom half of the frame to push across three runs for the win.

In the eighth, the Owls retired the tiebreaker runner on a fielders choice,  and drew a pop up to open the inning with two outs, but the Lions rallied with three hits and two walks to push three runs across.

Westfield got one run back when Hughes doubled to left field to score Lummus to lead off the inning, to trim the final score to 4-2, but the Owls couldn't muster the tying runs.
