Brandon Hager and Will Buckley were the Owls top two finishers at the Trinity Bantam Invitational.

WESTFIELD, Mass. -- For the second straight week first-year Will Buckley led the Owls efforts, as Westfield State finished in fourth place as a team at the the Trinity Bantam Invitational meet at Wickham Park in Manchester, Conn.
Buckley traversed the 5,000 meter course in 17:25. He was chased home by Brandon Hager (26th 17:47) , Mike Mahar (33rd, 18:08), Jarrod Ledvina (50th, 19:06) and Daniel Botte (51st, 19:07).
Tufts won the men's meet with 27 points, followed by Trinity (38), Wesleyan (69) and Westfield (128). Seven total teams scored at the meet.
The Owls will be back in action next weekend at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational.
