Men's Cross Country Fourth at WNEU Invitational

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Westfield State men's cross country team finished fourth at the Western New England Invitational this afternoon.

The Owls were led by junior Conner Grady (Douglas, Mass.) who finished 12th. Grady finished the 8k men's course in 26:52. 

Not far behind Grady were three other Owls in freshman Anthony DiStauro (Milford, Mass.), senior Kevin Rayner (Pittsfield, Mass.) and junior Cameron Bean (Stoughton, Mass.) who finished 14th, 15th, and 16th, respectively.

Bridgewater State won the meet with only 64 points, beating out the University of New England by ten points. Worcester came in third, followed by the Owls in fourth.

Next up for the Owl men's and women's cross country teams is the much-anticipated MASCAC Championships. The meet will take place on Saturday, November 2nd at MooreState Park in Paxton, Mass.
