Westfield State senior Tim Forrest (Westborough/Grafton, Mass.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference men's cross country runner of the week for the week ending on September 9.
Forrest was the top finisher for Westfield State at the Trinity Bantam Invitational meet on Saturday, as he placed third overall with a time of 16:49.7 over the 5-kilometer course at Wickham Park in Manchester, Conn.
Forrest and the Owls will be back in action on Saturday, September 15 at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational meet.
