WESTFIELD, Mass.  -  First year Ali Warsame placed second in the triple jump to lead the Owls men's and track and field team's performances at the Utica College Holiday Classic in Utica, N.Y. on Saturday afternoon.

The Westfield men placed 8^th among 13 teams competing at the meet

Warsame's hop skip and jump measured 13.09 meters, with teammate Colby Ranck also picking up points in sixth place at 12.92 meters.

 Senior Scott Porter ran third in the 600 meters with a mark of 1:31.23, and Will Brewster took home fourth place in the 60 meters with a time of 7.43 seconds.

 The Owls will break for finals and the winter break period before returning to action on January 13 at the Coast Guard winter invitational.
