Senior Mike Maher was one of two event winners for the Owls, as Westfield State competed at the Wheaton College Pre Post Season Invitational meet on Saturday in Norton, Mass.

Maher topped the 3000 meters in a time of 9:18.11

Colby Ranck was a winner in the triple jump with a hop-skip-jump of 13.08 meters    and took second place in the long jump at 6.45 meters.  Teammate Owen Ortiz picked up third place in the triple jump at 12.85 meters.

Lucas Roberts finished third in the 200 meters 23.85.

No team scores were posted at the meet.

Westfield will send its qualified athletes to the New England Division III Championships at Middlebury College next Friday and Saturday.
