John Nekitopoulos took second and Aidan O'Neil third in the 600-meter run to highlight the Owls' performances at the Massasoit Classic meet on Saturday at Springfield College.
Nekitopoulos ran 1:36.83 in outpacing his classmate by just over one second.
Mike Maher placed third in the 3000 meter run in 9:29.56, while
Owen Ortiz placed fifth in the long jump with a top leap of 6.19 meters.
The meet was the Owls first since returning from the winter break. Westfield is scheduled to run at Wesleyan University next Saturday.
