Men's Track Competes at Sheehan Invitational

FITCHBURG, Mass. –  Freshman Colby Ranck won the triple jump and senior Chris Tringali topped the 1500 meters to highlight the Westfield State University men's track and field team's performances at the Jim Sheehan Invitational at Fitchburg State University on Saturday.

Ranck hopped, skipped and jumped 12.75 meters in just his second outing as an Owl.  He also took home third place honors in the long jump at 6.26 meters.

Tringali got the 1500 meters in 4:19.83.

Travis Dozier was second in the high jump at 1.75 meters, Lucas Roberts second in the 400 meters (52.51), and Ryan Donohue second in the hammer throw with a top toss of 38.00 meters.

No team scoring was kept at the meet.  The Owls will be at home next weekend to contest the Jerry Gravel Classic meet.   Live video of the meet will be available at WestfieldStateOwls.com.
