HANOVER, New Hampshire - Westfield State University's senior David Drigo (Middleton, Mass. / Masconomet) posted a strong finish in the javelin to lead the men's outdoor track and field team at the 2018 NEICAAA Track and Field Championships hosted by Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire on Friday and Saturday.
Drigo was the top individual finisher for the Owls as he placed 18th in the javelin with a throw of 51.09-meters (167-07).
Southern Connecticut State placed first as a team with 113.5 total points. UMass Amherst followed in second with a total of 71 points and New Hampshire College finished third with 53 total points.
Westfield did not place as a team.
