WESTFIELD, Mass. - Men's soccer's first-year goalkeeper Luke Theroux (Chicopee, Mass.) secured the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week recognition after a stellar defensive performance in the win at Salem State.

Theroux logged a career-high 16 saves in the 2-1 win over Salem State, including a crucial stop on a shot from 20 feet out late in the game. Theroux has started in 14 games this season with seven wins under his belt. He's saved 92 total shots with a save percentage of 76.7%.

The Owls (7-7-1, 5-2 MASCAC) now look to host their MASCAC semi-finals matchup as the second seed on Friday, November 3 for a 7:00 P.M. start time against the highest remaining seed.
