Owls Work OT, Settle for Scoreless Draw

WESTFIELD, Mass.   -- Westfield State battled Albertus Magnus College in a non-conference men's soccer game in New Haven on Monday night, with neither team able to tally a goal as the game ended as a 0-0 draw in double overtime.

Westfield outshot the Falcons, 26-16, and held a 5-1 advantage in corner kicks.

Griffin Brown started in goal for the Owls, making a pair of saves in the first half, with Sean Moore playing the second half and the overtimes and finishing with four saves.

Westfield is now 5-5-3 on the season, while Albertus is 6-5-5.

The Owls will play their final regular season game of the year on Saturday, hosting Salem State at Alumni Field.
