WESTFIELD, Mass. -- Westfield State junior defenseman Josh Boulos (Burlington, Mass.) was named this past week's MASCAC men's ice hockey Player of the Week, as announced by the league earlier this afternoon.

Boulos tallied five points on two goals and three assists in a 2-0 week for the Owls. He scored a goal and added two assists in the 8-2 win over Salem State earlier in the week and then picked up another goal and assist in the 5-2 win over Plymouth State on Saturday night.

Thanks to Boulos' great play both on both ends of the puck, the Owls are now 2-1 in conference play, outscoring their opponents 15-8 within the MASCAC.

The Owls host Franklin Pierce in a nonconference matchup tomorrow night at 7:35 p.m. at Amelia Park Ice Arena.
