WESTFIELD, Mass. - Freshman ice hockey standout Jake Ratcliffe (Canterbury, New Zealand) was named this week's MASCAC ice hockey Rookie of the Week, as announced by the conference earlier today.

Ratcliffe tallied a goal in each of the Owls' games this week, scoring his sixth and seventh goals of the early campaign. He netted the game-winner in a 6-2 win over Becker and scored the first goal of a big 6-2  conference win over Salem State on Saturday.

The Owls' are back in action tomorrow night (1/8) as they square off against Franklin Pierce at Jason Ritchie Ice Arena, puck drop scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
