WESTFIELD, Mass.  – Westfield State University freshman Justin Collins (Wilmington, Mass.) was named this week's MASCAC men's ice hockey Rookie of the Week, announced by the conference earlier today.

Collins tallied a pair of goals in the Owls' season-opening 6-3 win over Western New England University.

The Owls are back in action tomorrow against Johnson and Wales University with puck drop scheduled for 2:55 p.m. at Lynch Arena in Pawtucket, R.I.
