Limburg Earns Goalie Of The Week Honors

WESTFIELD, Ma- Westfield State University sophomore men's ice hockey goalie Kameron Limburg (Howell, Mich.), earned the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference goalie of the week honors.

Limburg finished the week with a 2.00 GAA, a .944 save percentage, and 67 saves for the Owls as they went 2-0 during the week. He stopped 39 shots in the 2-1 win over Salem State, including 18 saves in the first period. He also finished with 28 saves in the 9-3 win over Framingham State.

Limburg has 523 saves and a .886 save percentage in 17 starts for the Owls this season.

Owls junior forward Aaron Clancy (Quincy, Mass) was selected to the MASCAC weekly honor roll as he scored two goals and added two assists in Westfield's 9-3 win over Framingham State.

The Owls are 7-11-1 overall on the season and 5-8 in MASCAC play.

Westfield travels to Framingham on Thursday, February 8th, in their third and final game of the season. Puck drops at 7:30.
