Owls Compete at Rich Korzec Memorial

WESTFIELD, Mass.  –    Jack Corsi shot the low round of the day for Westfield State as the Owls placed eighth at the Rich Korzec Memorial Golf Tournament, hosted by Worcester State University at Blackstone National GC in Sutton, Mass. on Wednesday.

Corsi finished with a 9-over par 81 on the 6,909-yard par 72 track to finish in a two-way tie for 10th.

Corsi was six strokes back of a three-way tie for the top spot, including MCLA's Mat Gover, who won the Owls dual meet with MCLA yesterday.

Nichols College won the team title with a score of +24, followed by Roger Williams +25 and Salem State +31.  Westfield finished 8th among 11 competitors with a score of +61.

The Owls will wrap up the spring season on Saturday at the Elms College Invitational at The Ranch Golf Club.
