Westfield State senior Kyle DelSignore (Attleboro, Mass.) shot 81-79-160 to place 46th in an 80 player field at the 2-day Skidmore Invitational at the Saratoga (NY) State Park Golf Course on Saturday and Sunday.

Westfield finished 14th against the most competitive field the Owls have faced since the return of the men's golf program in 2008.

National #24 Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute won the meet with a team score of 592.  The field included four more teams receiving votes in the GCAA national poll.   The Owls posted a team score of 681.

Senior Brandon Smith (Feeding Hills, Mass.) was next in for the Owls in 61st at 83-81-164 on the 6,914 yard, par-72 layout.

The 1950's redesigned course once featured an exhibition match between Arnold Palmer and Gary Player to celebrate it's reopening.

This match concludes the fall portion of Westfield's men's golf schedule.
