Smith, DelSignore Named to MASCAC All-Conference First Team

WESTFIELD, Mass. – Westfield State seniors' Brandon Smith (Feeding Hills, Mass.) and Kyle DelSignore (Attleboro, Mass.) were both named to the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference All-Conference First Team after finishing in the top five at the conference championship tournament this past weekend at Shennecossett Golf Course in Groton, Connecticut.

Smith shot rounds of 75 and 78 to finish third overall at eleven over par, while DelSignore posted the second lowest score of the day on Monday with a two-over 73, vaulting him into fourth place individually at thirteen over par.

As a team, the Owls finished the tournament third overall with a combined score of +79, which was 14 strokes clear of New England College who placed fourth.

Westfield State will be back on the course this upcoming weekend as the Owls will participate in the Skidmore Fall Classic from Saratoga Spa State Park in Saratoga, New York.
