WESTFIELD, Mass. -- Westfield State junior Jauch Green, Jr. (Hartford, Conn.) was named the MASCAC men's basketball Player of the Week for the fourth time this young season, as announced by the conference earlier today.

Green Jr. scored 29 points and grabbed 15 rebounds while dishing out five assists in a road win at Bridgewater State as Westfield improved to 2-0 in conference. He finished 11-18 from the floor and a 7-11 at the line, adding two blocks and two steals.

Now, he stands just 11 points shy of 1,000 for his career (his first two years were played at Western Connecticut State).

Green Jr. and the Owls get back to work on Wednesday, as they take on Framingham State in a MASCAC matchup starting at 6:00 p.m.
