WESTFIELD, Mass. – Westfield State junior forward Jauch Green, Jr. (Cromwell/Hartford, Conn.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference men's basketball player of the week for the second straight week.
Green led the Owls in an 83-68 win over Western New England University with a strong all-around performance where he scored 17 points, grabbed eight rebounds, handed out six assists and totaled three steals and two blocks.
For the season, Green leads Westfield State with 17.6 points per game. He is shooting 50.8 percent from the floor, averages seven rebounds, two assists and two steals per game.
The Owls currently have a record of 5-4. Westfield will next play at Pine Manor College on Tuesday, December 11.
