WESTFIELD, Mass. –   Westfield State junior Skyla Harthcock (Martha's Vineyard, Mass.) scored three goals to lead the way for the Owls, as Westfield blanked Rivier College, 4-0 in a non-conference field hockey game at Nashua, N.H. on Tuesday night.

Corryn Moroney (Granby, Mass./South Hadley HS) got the scoring started for the Owls just 6:18 into the game.

Harthock tallied her first on a rebound in the 43rd minute of play, then added her second just 38 seconds later on a feed from Leah Pierce (Barnstable, Mass.) , and capped the scoring in the 49th minute when Kayleigh Murphy (Pembroke, Mass.) slipped a pass in front of the goal to Harthcock.

Rivier's Kylie Coupal finished with six saves.

Westfield State improves to 5-2 overall, while Rivier dips to 1-5.
