WESTFIELD, Mass. – The Westfield State University field hockey team placed six members on the Little East Conference 2018 Fall All-Academic Team, as announced by the conference Friday afternoon.
Seniors Brittany Bowes (Leicester, Mass.), Jordyn Gosselin (Bolton, Vt.), and Carly Zona (Auburn, Mass.) were all named to the team along with junior Madey Shea (Bridgewater, Mass.) and sophomores Marina Small (South Harwich, Mass.) and Katie Vamosi (Easton, Mass.).
To be named the LEC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must be at least in sophomore standing in the classroom, have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the previous semester, and have been at their current institution for at least one full academic year.
