WESTFIELD, Mass. – Westfield State football's first-year kicker, Cooper Harvey (Niskayuna, N.Y.), secured his second-straight Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week award while also securing the conference's Rookie of the Week honors this week after the Owls' dominant 49-0 victory over Fitchburg State in the season finale.

Harvey was named to MASCAC honors this week for the fourth time in his rookie year after his perfect game against Fitchburg. He was 7/7 on extra point tries.

The rookie wrapped up his first year with a total of 26 points and three field goals made, including a career-high 39 yarder against Mass. Maritime. He was also 17/20 on extra point attempts.

Westfield finished their 2023 campaign with a 3-7 record overall and a 3-5 record in the MASCAC, improving their record from a season ago.
