Boudreau Named MASCAC Player of the Week

WESTFIELD, Mass. - Westfield State junior infielder Casey Boudreau (Shrewsbury, Mass.) was named the MASCAC baseball Player of the Week, as announced by the conference this afternoon.

Boudreau batted .538 (7-13) with two doubles, a triple, six runs scored, and five RBI plus a .846 slugging percentage and .625 on-base percentage in a 3-1 week for the Owls.

He was 2-for-3 with a double, two runs scored, RBI and a walk in the 8-7 win over Amherst College and went 2-for-3 with a double, triple, two RBI and two runs scored in the win over Massachusetts Maritime on Thursday. Boudreau also went 3-for-7 with two runs scored, two RBI and a stolen base in the doubleheader split with the Buccaneers on Friday.

The Owls get back to action on Wednesday as they travel to Springfield College for a 3:30 p.m. matchup with the Pride.
